freshly squeezed orange juice that Georgia squeezed herself, made just for me.
Happiness is also a flower safari in the woods and the resulting picture-taking contest between Billy and I. Everyone's a winner in that contest, especially the flowers which remained unpicked by our enthusiastic flower pickers.
Billy took this one of a bluebell budding
I took this one (I don't know what kind of flower this is. I want to say trout lily but I don't think that's right.)
Posted by Bahiyyih at April 10, 2005 05:42 PMHi guys. I'm loving your postings. Maya will always be surprising and delightful. Glad you didn't have to take them pig snouts home. What does one make with pig snouts anyway?
The flowers are BEE-yoo-tiful. I'm moved by the way you both have captured these signs of spring.
I think Layli has probably called to tell you that Mom is not doing well. Perhaps carotid artery problems on her left side. She doesn't see the doctor again until Thursday, so we wait in suspense to get some diagnosis for the tremendous pain she has in her head. She's had a CAT scan, and there's no tumor. But she stays in bed, because lying down is more comfortable than standing up or sitting. And you know Mom is not the stay-in-bed-all-day type. So I'll probably come back this weekend to see what's happening and be company and make sure she eats and stuff. Say a prayer for her so that she gets some kind of closure on this process soon.
Love,
nana
