Baby Comin'

Teresa's on her way! Bahiyyih's water broke about a half hour ago (around 8:20), and Zivar and Dan and a passel of Guyots came by and picked up Georgia and Maya.

We'll head off to the hospital in a few minutes -- Bahiyyih's taking a shower at the advice of the nurses at Carle.

Saw Bahiyyih at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, lookin' good, not in labor. Some little cleaning fairies came to the house and cleaned - much to the shock of Nana who was prepared to get into a cleaning frenzy. Thank you, cleaning fairies.

Bahiyyih and Teresa are doing superbly. Teresa was born Feb 20, 3:05 am, weighing 6 lb 14 oz and measuring 19 inches long. She's an inquisitive little person, looking around curiously and sucking on anything that comes near her mouth. Especially her fingers.

Labor really got going around 7 pm on Feb 19, so it was intense for about 8 hours. Recovery is going super-smooth.

Thank you all for your prayers!

Pictures to come.

Congratulations! Baby came out a few days earlier than Bill told me when I happened to meet him on the bus to campus.
God bless all of you!

Whoopie, wowwie, and wonderful!! Another Baker to share toys, laughs, and stories with! We hope baby Theresa, Bahiyyih, Bill, Georgia, Maya, and all family and friends on Baby Watch are now getting some much needed rest in preparation for the next chapters in Life's Great Adventure. We are very happy for you and look forward to meeting the newest Baker at home soon. Love from your neighbor-friends, Polly and Cathy

I am so joyous!

I wanted so badly to be there, but I couldn't even poke my head in, as I
have bad bronchitis and the IDPR has deprived me of a license.

I have purchased presents for the older girls from their baby sister, can't wait to get well to bring them over.
