This iris patch had only two flowers last year because the weeds that had gotten a hold after years of neglect and out-competed them. This year, without all that competition (after a lot of picky weeding), the irises took over.

Its so nice to have someone who shares my love of flowers and get pictures too. Çhildren are like flowers. My flowers are beautiful too and having trouble because were getting sooo much rain along with tornado watches and flood watches and it looks like its going on for at least another week. I never thought Id complain about too much rain. The plants are getting all leggy but are still blooming. So relieved that the kids are better.

Wonderful photos! Love that Maya, checking out the tag. She must have seen someone else do that. The flowers are amazing. You have your grandma's green thumb. Georgia looks like herself. Yeah!
